Gaffer Support

Register your FPL Team ID and Gaffer will monitor your squad during live matches. You'll receive instant push notifications when your players score goals, get assists, receive cards, earn bonus points, and more.

1. Log in at fantasy.premierleague.com
2. Go to the Points tab
3. Check the number in the URL after /entry/ — that's your Team ID

For example, if the URL is fantasy.premierleague.com/entry/123456/event/1, your Team ID is 123456.

1. Sign in with your email or Google account
2. Tap Register Team on the home screen
3. Enter your FPL Team ID
4. Gaffer will sync your squad and start monitoring your players

Free accounts can track 1 team. With a Season Pass subscription, you can track up to 5 teams. To add another team, tap Register Team from the home screen.

There are a few things to check:

• Device settings — Make sure notifications are enabled for Gaffer in your device's system settings
• App settings — Open Gaffer, go to Settings, and check that your desired alert types are toggled on
• Match window — Notifications are only sent during live matches. Outside of match windows, there are no alerts to send
• Focus/Do Not Disturb — Check that your device isn't silencing notifications

Yes. In Settings under Event Alerts, expand Customize and toggle on Substitutes to receive notifications for players on your bench.

AI Summaries are periodic match recaps generated by AI during live gameweeks. They provide a natural-language digest of recent events affecting your squad. This feature requires a Season Pass subscription.

The Season Pass is an auto-renewing annual subscription that unlocks all premium features, including bonus point alerts, defensive alerts, match activity notifications, AI summaries, and the ability to track up to 5 FPL teams.

Go to Settings and tap the Subscription section, then tap Season Pass to view pricing and subscribe. Payment is processed through your Apple App Store or Google Play account.

You can cancel your subscription at any time through your device's subscription settings:

• iPhone/iPad: Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions > Gaffer
• Android: Google Play Store > Profile > Payments & subscriptions > Subscriptions > Gaffer

Your premium features will remain active until the end of the current billing period. Cancelling does not trigger a refund for the remaining time.

If you reinstalled the app or switched devices, go to Settings > Subscription > Season Pass and tap Restore purchases. This will check your Apple or Google account for an existing subscription.

All purchases are processed by Apple or Google. To request a refund:

• Apple: Visit reportaproblem.apple.com
• Google: Visit Google Play refund support

Go to Settings and tap Delete Account at the bottom of the screen. You will be asked to confirm. This action is permanent and will remove all your data.

Important: Deleting your account does not automatically cancel an active subscription. You must cancel your subscription separately through your device's subscription settings before deleting your account.

Go to Settings and tap Sign Out. Your account and data will be preserved — you can sign back in at any time.

The app uses your Firebase authentication email. If you signed up with email and password, please contact us at support@tectonicbyte.com for assistance with changing your email.

Double-check that you're entering just the numeric ID from your FPL URL, without any extra characters. Your team must also be publicly visible on the FPL website. Private teams cannot be synced.

Gaffer syncs your squad automatically. If your squad appears outdated, try removing the team from Settings and re-registering it with the same Team ID. This will trigger a fresh sync.

Try the following steps:

1. Force-close the app and reopen it
2. Check your internet connection
3. Update to the latest version from the App Store or Google Play
4. If the issue persists, contact us with details about your device and the problem
